Guyz Nite formed in Boston around 2014 with Shelby Chipman on vocals and guitar, Michael Hannon on bass, and Joe Gaff on drums. They put out their debut single "Die Hard" in 2017, which got some radio play and became a regular part of their live set. That same year they released an EP called "Nothin' to Prove" that included the song along with four other tracks.
Their full-length album "Live Fast, Die Young" came out in 2019. The band kept touring, playing shows with the kind of loud, energetic rock that drew some criticism about their stage presence being too much for some people. They didn't really change their approach though.
