H Doble K is a Mexican duo formed by brothers Héctor and Hugo Huerta in Mexico City in the late 1990s. They blend cumbia rhythms with electronic elements like house and techno, creating a sound that found its audience in underground clubs before reaching wider recognition.
Their 2006 single "Sonamos Con Ritmo" became a breakthrough track, popular on dance floors in Mexico and internationally. It led to their debut album "Por Fin" and helped establish their place in what's often called electro-cumbia.
While known for keeping a low public profile, they've worked with artists like Colombian singer Fonseca and Mexican producer Camilo Lara. Their albums include "El Camino" and "El Oasis."
Keep it compact: a lyric you come back to, a live memory, or the part of the catalog you would point someone toward first.
