Há Vida Em Marte formed in Brazil in the early 2000s. Their debut album 'Terra de Gigantes' came out in 2005. The band's core members have included vocalist Celeste, guitarist Arthur, bassist Rafael, and drummer Felipe.
Their song 'Conta-gotas' became particularly well-known, with its emotional delivery and lyrics about unrequited love. Other tracks like 'Somebody' and 'Erro' also appear in their catalog. They've worked with other Brazilian artists including Maria Rita, Marcelo D2, and Adriana Calcanhotto.
In 2010, the band took a break when Celeste faced personal struggles. They returned to release more albums like 'A Era dos Gigantes,' 'O Pequeno Herói,' and 'Contos e Lendas.' Their music tends toward introspective themes and what might be called Brazilian pop-rock.
Keep it compact: a lyric you come back to, a live memory, or the part of the catalog you would point someone toward first.
