Hadassa Áquila is a Brazilian band formed in the early 2000s by sisters Norma and Regina Costa. They built their sound around the sisters' vocal harmonies, with Norma on guitar and Regina on bass, backed by Luciano Melo on drums, Reinaldo Silva on keyboards, and João Paulo Araújo on guitar.
Their song "Ore Um Pouco Mais" became particularly well-known in Brazil, touching on themes of faith and perseverance. The band released several albums through the 2000s, including their self-titled debut in 2002, followed by "Do Meu Jeito" in 2004 and "Vivendo o Amor" in 2006.
In 2012, Hadassa Áquila drew criticism for performing at a political rally. The Costa sisters said they were just singing for Brazil rather than endorsing a candidate, but the appearance sparked debate about musicians and politics.
