Hakan Hellstrom

Hakan Hellstrom came up in Gothenburg, born there in 1974. He started putting out music in the early 2000s, and his debut album 'Känn Ingen Sorg För Mig Göteborg' landed right away in Sweden. That record set the tone for what followed, straightforward, melodic songs that connected with people, like 'Come On Lena' and 'Jag Hatar Att Jag älskar Dig Och Jag älskar Dig'.

He's kept a steady pace since then, releasing albums that often went platinum in Sweden. The work from that first decade includes 'Det Är Så Jag Säger Det' in 2002, 'Ett Skärp, Ett Kors' in 2005, and 'För Sent För Edelweiss' in 2006. His band has shifted lineups, but it's often been called the Broder Daniel-band, with players like Martin Hederos on keyboards and Anders Lindblom on drums.
