HalfNoise

HalfNoise is the solo project of Zac Farro, who was a founding member of Paramore. After leaving that band, he started making music under this name, releasing his first self-titled album in 2014. The project has mostly been a one-person affair, with Farro handling vocals and most of the instrumentation himself.

His second album came out in 2019 and was called 'Flowerss', which is also the title of one of his more popular songs. Other tracks like 'Natural Disguise' and 'Sudden Feeling' show the kind of quiet, atmospheric sound he tends to work with. The music often feels introspective and leans toward indie rock with some electronic touches.

Farro has occasionally worked with other musicians, including his former Paramore bandmate Hayley Williams on a track called 'As U Wave'. He also played drums on Paramore's 'After Laughter' album and appeared on their song 'Fake Happy'. HalfNoise hasn't been a high-profile project, but it's given Farro room to explore sounds that are more personal and less polished than what he did in his previous band.
