HardCall formed in São Paulo in the early 2000s with Tatã Aeroplano on vocals and guitar, Paulo Nazareth on lead guitar, Pedro Furtado on bass, and Fabiano Carelli on drums. They played small venues and festivals, working with a mix of punk energy and alternative rock melody.
Their song 'Diante de Tudo Isso' drew attention in 2007 for its direct lyrics about social inequality and political corruption. Some radio stations wouldn't play it, but the track found listeners who connected with its tone.
Later albums like 'Entre o Céu e o Inferno' and 'Ponto de Equilíbrio' showed the band developing their sound. Other songs in their catalog include 'Tentar Viver,' 'Milagres,' and 'Distância.'
Keep it compact: a lyric you come back to, a live memory, or the part of the catalog you would point someone toward first.
