Rolf Harris

Rolf Harris was an Australian entertainer who became known internationally in the 1960s with his song 'Six White Boomers.' The track, with its lighthearted lyrics about kangaroos pulling Santa's sleigh, became a seasonal favorite in Australia and found an audience in the UK. He recorded other songs like 'Court Of King Caratacus' and 'Botany Bay,' often drawing on Australian themes and folk traditions.

He was a multi-instrumentalist who incorporated the didgeridoo into his performances, which gave his music a distinctive sound alongside more conventional pop and folk arrangements. His career spanned television presenting and painting as well, making him a familiar household figure in Britain for decades.
