Een goed vriend uit Rome
gaat ook geregeld op tournee
maakt waarheid van z'n dromen
door elke landingsbaan te kussen
maar geeft ie daar een toespraak
dan blijkt toch telkens weer
dat z'n tekst door die regering is geschreven
en daardoor de verdrukten in dat land
door hem beleeft worden vergeten
