Fire In The Sky

And as we ride on the wings of tomorrow

We try and see what the future may bring

There's no sign of fear, there is no sign of sorrow

But I feel that the sun is only there to deceive

Nothing on earth will live forever

There's time drawing near and we all soon shall see

Times that will come and bring us shivers

Make us believe.

And now the time has come to leave it all behind

They see the fire rise, flames burning bright

Friends, foes, sinners and believers raise your heads

No need to worry now, it is too late

And when I see the lightning rip up the night

I fall down to my knees and I prey to the lord

Fire from down below reaches the sky above

Armies of heaven strike down to hell

Fire devour them as well

Reflecting on your life, the night has gone so dark

None of your memories can light up the past

Your heart cold as ice, your promises unkept

The will to redefine the good and the bad

And when I see the lightning rip up the night

Those who have doubt that run now like rats

Knowing their time has come to past
