The band's lineup included Shaun Kelly on vocals and guitar, Tim Hoey on guitar, Andrew Parisi on bass, and Xavier Rudd on drums.
They released several albums through the late 1990s and early 2000s, including 1000 Miles in 1999 and 21st Century in 2001. Rudd left the band in 1998, and Head On continued with different drummers. Their music often dealt with personal themes that connected with listeners.
