Headway formed in the late 1990s, with Damien Rice on vocals and guitar, Lisa Hannigan on vocals and harp, Mic Christopher on bass, and Fiachna Ó Braonáin on drums. Their debut album 'O' came out in 2000 and included the song 'Give Up,' which got a lot of attention. A few years later, 'Give Up' won an Ivor Novello Award for Best Contemporary Song.
They put out a few more albums like 'Living with Wolves' in 2002 and 'The Silent Hour' in 2004. Some of their other songs include 'Lord Knows,' 'Mal Resolvido,' and 'Remind Me To Miss You.' Their last studio album was 'Wheels on Fire' in 2008.
