Heather Morris

Heather Morris first gained attention playing cheerleader Brittany S. Pierce on the television show Glee starting in 2008. While on the show, she released her solo debut single 'Run The World (Girls)' in 2011, which became a chart hit in multiple countries. The song's message of female empowerment connected with listeners, though it also drew some criticism when she performed it at the White House Easter Egg Roll in 2017.

Her other songs include 'Dinosaur,' 'Light Up The World,' and 'Landslide.' She also performed covers like 'Me Against The Music' with Naya Rivera and 'Tik Tok' on Glee. In 2014, Morris was diagnosed with scoliosis and underwent surgery, but returned to performing afterward.

Morris was born in 1987 in Thousand Oaks, California, and initially trained as a dancer before moving into acting and music through her role on Glee. She has continued to release music independently since her time on the show.
