Hector PVT

Hector PVT formed in 2002 as a rap collective from the suburbs of Paris. They worked outside the mainstream, releasing mixtapes like 'La Rage de Vivre' and 'La Rue C'est Dure' that didn't fit what major labels were looking for at the time.

Their track 'El Rap Rodrigou30' came out in 2005 and became an underground hit. The song addressed police brutality and social issues, which connected with listeners who felt similar frustrations. They kept their identities hidden, which added to their reputation as an anonymous group.

Rumors circulated about members possibly including Rodrigou30, Die-on, and Le S, but the collective never confirmed who was actually involved. Their lyrics were direct and sometimes graphic, which drew criticism from some corners while their anonymity kept attention on the music itself.
