Helemaal Hollands formed in 2004 and became known for their party anthem "Waar Is Dat Feestje?" which came out the following year. The Dutch group released albums like Helemaal Hollands in 2004, De Party Gaat Door in 2005, and Zo Moet Dat in 2006.
Current members include Henk Westbroek on lead vocals, John Westbroek on vocals and guitar, Johan Bakay on vocals and bass, and Eric van Tijn on drums. In 2007, they settled a legal dispute out of court with artist Leo van der Meer over claims of plagiarism regarding his song "De Feestneus."
In 2018, their performance at a campaign rally for the far-right political party Forum voor Democratie drew criticism from some fans and media outlets.
