I know my enemy and i can't forget his name,

Distant memories of a man that just couldn't change,

And though i've tried to set aside,

I still carry them today

All the booze led to fights and abuse and i lived through it every day and though i try,

I tried to snuff the candle, but i've been burnt by the flame,
