Helshare formed in 2004 in Bucharest, Romania, with members Vlad Dracul on vocals, Vlad The Impaler on guitar, Count Dracula on bass, and Black Sabbath on drums. They released their debut album 'Torment and Sorrow' in 2006, followed by 'The Devil's Dance' in 2008 and 'Blind' in 2010.
Their 2010 album 'Blind' became particularly well-known, with the title track appearing alongside songs like 'Fatal', 'Lifeless', 'Medium Black', and 'Myths' in their catalog. They released one more album, 'The Blackest of Hearts', in 2012.
The band's music drew from heavy metal traditions with some incorporation of classical and Eastern musical elements. Their lyrical themes often explored darker emotional territory, which resonated with certain segments of the metal audience.
