Herineu Precindo was born in Salvador, Brazil in 1948. He started performing on streets and in local bars as a young man, playing guitar and singing. His 1976 album 'Nosso Amor' featured the title track that became a commercial success.
Precindo's music often dealt with social justice themes and personal struggles, which sometimes drew criticism. In 1992, he faced legal action over lyrics about a politician. His discography includes albums from 1980 onward, mixing samba, MPB, and bolero styles.
Keep it compact: a lyric you come back to, a live memory, or the part of the catalog you would point someone toward first.
