In 1995, he released the album 'Paixão,' which included the song of the same name. That track became his most recognized work, reaching listeners well beyond Brazil. He's known for writing about love and social themes, which has sometimes put him at odds with certain audiences.
His later albums include 'Amor de Índio' from 1999, 'Roda Viva' from 2003, and 'Liberdade' from 2012.
