Hermanas Martinez

The Martinez sisters, Patricia, Alma, and Daniela, grew up singing together in Valle de Guadalupe, Jalisco. Their first album came out in 2005, produced by Jorge Avendaño, and included the track 'Si Estas En La Prueba,' a ballad about faith during hard times that became their breakout song.

In 2010, Patricia dealt with a health issue that paused their work for a while. They kept recording after that, though some critics weren't sure what to make of their style when they played Viña del Mar in 2015. They've put out a handful of albums since getting started, mostly working within the regional Mexican traditions they heard growing up.
