Heroes (SP) formed in 1984 with Marcelo Camelo, Rodrigo Amarante, and Otavio Januzzi. Their debut album 'Heroes do Mar' came out in 1986, featuring the song 'Onde Vou' that became well-known in Brazil.
Januzzi left the band in 1997. Camelo and Amarante reunited in 2007 for the album 'Nossos Dias' and toured afterward.
They released other albums including 'O Tempo Não Para' in 1988 and 'Concertos para Quando a Terra Acabar' in 1992. Other musicians like Luciano Figueiredo and Rodrigo Barba have played with the group.
