Heróis de Ninguém formed in Belo Horizonte in the early 2000s, with Samuel Rosa on vocals and guitar. Their self-titled debut came out in 2002, followed by albums like Truco in 2005 and O Mundo É Nosso in 2014.
In 2007, drummer Rodrigo Barba was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis, which led to a temporary break. The band returned and sometimes addressed social issues in their lyrics, which drew both criticism and a dedicated audience.
Songs like Com Você Fico Bem Melhor and Especial show their straightforward approach to melody and emotion. They recorded an acoustic session for MTV in 2011 and released A Consequência É a Canoa in 2019.
Keep it compact: a lyric you come back to, a live memory, or the part of the catalog you would point someone toward first.
