They followed it with records like 'Rádio Blá' in 1987, 'As Quatro Estações' in 1990, and 'Na Terra dos Gigantes' in 1994.
Nova's lyrics sometimes criticized the Brazilian government and social issues, which brought the band some censorship and friction with labels and promoters. Their song 'Vendados Ao Destino' from 1986 became a hit and stayed popular in Brazilian rock circles. The band mixed hard rock, punk, and reggae in a way that felt fresh at the time and influenced other Brazilian groups.
