Heron and Gustavo met in Fortaleza in 1994 and started writing songs together. Their first album, 'Ao Vivo e a Cores,' came out in 1999. They've kept at it since, putting out records like 'Mel' in 2004, 'Pé na Estrada' in 2010, and 'Amor e Fé' in 2015.
Their song 'Seu Amor Me Faz Crescer' became something of an anthem for them. They've also recorded tracks like 'A Gente Vai Se Encontrar' and 'Pensamentos.' Their music is acoustic, with some folk and bossa nova in the mix.
In 2004, their label dropped them, so they released 'Mel' on their own. A few years later, a song called 'Eu Quero Ser um Santo' got some pushback from religious groups. They've kept writing and recording through it all.
