Jennifer Love Hewitt formed a band under her own name in 2002, with Patrick Wilson from 'I Know What You Did Last Summer' joining on guitar and vocals. They put out a self-titled debut album that same year, followed by 'BareNaked' in 2003 and 'Cool with Yourself' in 2006. The group included Brad Mendenhall on bass and Michael Bienvenue on drums.
Their first single 'Love Will Show You Everything' got some attention, and 'Can I Go Now?' was another track that made it onto their debut. The band's sound pulled from pop and country, though some critics dismissed them as a celebrity project. They kept playing live and recording until 2007, when they stopped.
Jennifer Love Hewitt's songs like 'Take My Heart Back' and 'Never A Day Goes By' are still around in lyrics catalogs. The music doesn't get talked about much these days, but the recordings exist.
Keep it compact: a lyric you come back to, a live memory, or the part of the catalog you would point someone toward first.
