Hi-Five formed in Waco, Texas in 1989 with Roderick "Pooh" Clark, Tony Thompson, Toriano Easley, Marcus Sanders, and Russel Neal.
Their second album, "Keep It Goin' On," arrived in 1992 but didn't match their debut's success. Clark and Thompson left the group the following year. Hi-Five kept recording with shifting lineups through the mid-90s, putting out albums like "Faithful" and "The Fifth," but they never recaptured that early momentum.
Some of their other songs from that period include "I Like The Way (The Kissing Game)" and "I Can't Wait Another Minute."
Keep it compact: a lyric you come back to, a live memory, or the part of the catalog you would point someone toward first.
