Hiago Klauz came up in Salvador, Bahia, where he started putting out music around 2008 with a debut single called "Vera Verão." The city's samba and axé rhythms were part of the background, but his own sound took shape over the next few years.
In 2014, he released "Decidi," a song about self-empowerment that connected widely in Brazil. It became his breakout hit, and he followed it with albums like "Só Não Se Acomode" in 2015 and "Nada a Perder" in 2022. Other tracks like "Leigo Ilegalizado" and "Tranquilão" with Thales Uzi show his range across upbeat and more laid-back moods.
He apologized and later worked on more inclusive material, but the focus has generally stayed on the songs themselves, straightforward Brazilian pop with a personal touch.
Keep it compact: a lyric you come back to, a live memory, or the part of the catalog you would point someone toward first.
