Archive material and source history
Histtería formed in Lisbon in the early 2000s, a Portuguese rock band led by vocalist Sérgio Rosado. Their debut album 'O Inferno dos Outros' came out in 2003, featuring the song 'Minha Vida' that became widely known. They followed with albums like 'Escritos na Pele' in 2005 and 'Epifania' in 2008.
Rosado's stage presence and the band's lyrics sometimes drew criticism, and in 2009 he faced legal trouble after an altercation with a fan. They kept recording, putting out 'Caos' in 2011. Later, Rosado began speaking more about mental health and social issues in his work.
