Hitlist formed in Santos, Brazil in 2013 as a pop-rock quartet with Vitor Kley on vocals, Pedro Calais on guitar, Guilherme Lira on bass, and Fabio Almeida on drums. They started playing small local gigs and sharing music online before things took off a few years later.
Their 2016 single "Aonde o Vento Te Levar" became a breakthrough hit in Brazil, topping charts and racking up streams internationally. That song and another early track, "Na Minha Lista," helped establish their sound. They released their debut album "HITLIST" that same year, followed by "UNIVERSO PARALELO" in 2019 and "ALMA" in 2022.
In 2018, the band faced plagiarism allegations regarding "Aonde o Vento Te Levar," but those claims were eventually dismissed after an investigation. They've continued releasing music since, with Kley handling most of the songwriting and vocals.
