Hsound Of Heaven formed in São Paulo, Brazil in 1996. The band's core members included André Valadão on lead vocals, Mariana Valadão on backing vocals, Felipe Valadão on drums, Rodney Santos on bass, and Marcelo Valadão on lead guitar. Their sound mixed contemporary rock with electronic beats and gospel elements.
Their debut album 'Som do Céu' came out in 1996, followed by several others including 'Deus Reina' in 2000 and 'Milagres' in 2003. They released a live album in 2007 and their final album 'Reino' in 2015. One of their notable songs is 'Jesus Tú És Meu Último Amor'.
In 2004, the band faced some criticism within Christian circles for performing at a non-evangelical church. André Valadão also spoke publicly about dealing with anxiety and depression. The original members eventually moved on to solo work, but their music continues to be heard in Christian communities.
