Huan Compositor is a Brazilian band from Rio de Janeiro, formed around lead vocalist and songwriter Huan dos Santos with guitarist Rodolfo Silva and drummer Davi Oliveira. Their sound draws from samba and funk carioca, the local rhythms of their city.
Their breakthrough came with "A Festa Não Pode Parar," a song Huan dos Santos wrote in the early 2000s that became a popular anthem for parties and nightlife. Other tracks like "Arraiá da Tentação" and "Capotei Meu Coração" followed in a similar vein of upbeat, danceable music.
The band released albums including their self-titled debut in 2004, "A Festa Continua" in 2007, and "Só Pra Curtir" in 2010. They've kept performing, though details about their recent activity are sparse.
