I don't mind you playing with my imagination

I don't mind you talking about me and you

I might think it's funny if you're fooling with my money

But I don't like you saying things that just aren't tru

I don't mind discussing wisdom & youth

And I don't mind you cussing if you're telling the truth

You can joke about the weather on a lousy day

But don't tell me that you're leaving if you're planning to stay

If you got something to tell me it better be true

It don't have to be clever between me and you

If it's gonna be forever it better be true

I don't mind rehearsing though I'd much rather play

I don't mind conversing if you've got something to say

A little exaggeration might be understood

But lying to me darling just ain't no good.
