Hungry Heart is a Japanese band that formed with Makoto Fukui on vocals, Yoshihiko Teraoka on guitar, Yoshitaka Ninomiya on bass, and Fumi Hasegawa on drums. They first gained attention with their 2002 single "Kiseki No Tsubasa," a ballad that became their breakthrough track.
Their debut album "Departure" came out in 2003, followed by "Believe" in 2007. The band released a compilation called "10th Anniversary Best" in 2012, and returned with "Restart" in 2015 after taking some time off.
In 2010, Hungry Heart faced plagiarism allegations that led to a temporary suspension of their activities. They eventually resumed performing and recording.
