Brian Hyland was born in Queens, New York in 1943. He signed with Kapp Records in 1959, and the following year his single 'Sealed With a Kiss' reached the top of the Billboard Hot 100. The song was written by Gary Geld and Peter Udell.
Other songs from that early period include 'Ginny Come Lately' and 'You're adorable'. Later, in the 1970s, he had another hit with 'Gypsy Woman'.
