I Giocattoli formed in Rome in the early 2000s as an Italian synth-pop band. Their lineup included Enrico Gabrielli on lead vocals and keyboards, Massimo Pasut on drums, and Alessandro Pieravanti on bass. They released their self-titled debut album in 2003.
Despite this, the track became one of their most enduring songs. They released an album named after it in 2007, following 2005's 'Viaggio al Centro della Terra'.
Their music often dealt with space and dreamlike themes, creating ethereal soundscapes that blended electronic elements with Italian pop structures. They put out two more albums, 'L'Estasi' in 2010 and 'Il Futuro' in 2013.
Keep it compact: a lyric you come back to, a live memory, or the part of the catalog you would point someone toward first.
