Their music hits hard with songs like 'Forgiven' and 'Destroyer' that deal plainly with mental health and substance abuse themes. The 2015 plagiarism accusations around 'Forgiven' added a real-world tension to their story. They kept making music through it all, releasing 'Phoenix' in 2020.
They formed in Oklahoma City and put out 'Truth and Fiction' in 2007. After 'Phantom' in 2012 and 'Hypoxia' in 2016, they returned with 'Phoenix' in 2020. The lineup featured Brandon Ebel on vocals and guitar with Justin Dye, Jeremiah Scott, and Jonathan Bucklew.
