IBZY is a synth-pop duo from London made up of siblings Leo and Rose. They started working together in 2018, with Leo handling the synths and Rose on vocals. Their first single was called "Intro."
That song "Intro" came from Leo writing about his own feelings of isolation and self-doubt. Rose's voice floats over the synth lines in a way that gives the track its particular atmosphere. It became their initial release and set a tone for what followed.
They put out an EP called "Inner World" after that, and later another one titled "Ethereal." Their sound shifted a bit toward more dance-oriented territory on the second EP, but the lyrical focus on interior states remained. A more recent single is called "Lost in the Noise."
