Ignus formed in the late 1990s with members Damien "Inferno" Thorne on vocals, Lucifer "Stryker" Blackwood on guitar, Raven "Havok" Nightfall on bass, and Hades "Reaper" Shadowbane on drums. Their debut album "Inferno" came out in 2001, featuring the track "Blood Sky" that became something of a calling card for the band.
They followed with albums like "Eternal Nightfall" in 2003 and "The Blackest Hour" in 2006, continuing through "The End of All Things" in 2018. Other songs in their catalog include "Horror Assault," "L.i.e.s," "Cry," and "Empty World, Empty Words."
