Igreja Presbiteriana Bairro dos Estados is a Presbyterian church music group from São Paulo. They formed in 1960 when musicians from the Bairro dos Estados congregation came together to create music for worship.
Their song 'Aleluia' became particularly well-known in Brazilian Christian circles. They also recorded other worship songs like 'O Rei', 'Desejado', and 'Incomparável'.
In 1980 they released an album called 'O Deus que Adoramos'. Their use of contemporary musical styles sometimes drew attention within church discussions about worship music.
Keep it compact: a lyric you come back to, a live memory, or the part of the catalog you would point someone toward first.
