Dragon Song

When i was a kid i had a heart,

But my dragon spirit wanted to be apart.

As i journeyed to hell and back,

My heart was buried in the mountain top,

Where i grew up.

Dum, dududum…

So take me back to the mountain,

Where my heart really is.

For my love is a fountain,

Exploding to the air and abyss.

So i grew up to be a great dragon,

I saw a kindred spirit - a boy with a child in his eyes.

(and i felt that cliche thing for the first time).

Dum, dum dumd dum….

But the creatures of the past are trying to lure me back.

The creatures of the past won't trust a love that has grown from dust.

The creatures of the past are heeding me: " be independent!"

The creatures of the past are haunting me, haunting me, haunting me,

Hunting me, hunting me, hunting me down.
