Ikki formed in Paranaguá in 2003, with Bruno Sutter on vocals, Sérgio Mendes on guitar, and André Jung on bass. They were later joined by drummer Leandro Lisboa.

Bruno Sutter left the band in 2008 to act, and Leandro Lehart took over on vocals. Ikki toured Brazil, Portugal, and Europe around that time. Other songs from their catalog include 'Pensei Em Você' and 'Framboesa'.

There were some internal conflicts during Lehart's time with the band, and unsubstantiated plagiarism claims about 'Olhos Castanhos' surfaced at one point. The group continued recording after that period.
