IL MUSIC formed in Bologna in 2000, started by songwriter Emiliano Bertolini and guitarist Michele Quaini. They've worked with different musicians over time, including bassist Max Berg and drummer Mauro Severi. The band's songs often come from Bertolini's personal writing, with Quaini handling guitar arrangements.
Their 2005 debut album was called 'Dieci Piccoli Anni,' followed by 'Acaso Por Acaso' in 2010. The title track from that second album became their most recognizable song. They've made acoustic material alongside more rock-oriented work.
Keep it compact: a lyric you come back to, a live memory, or the part of the catalog you would point someone toward first.
