ILIR 7 formed in Jakarta in the early 2000s, a group of friends who started playing music together. Their debut album came out in 2005, anchored by the single 'Salah Apa Aku,' a melancholic ballad about unrequited love that connected with listeners across Indonesia.
The band's lineup included Irwan Suherman on vocals, Andri Priatna on guitar, Reymon Knugraha on bass, Eross Candra on keyboards, and Ricky Virgana on drums. They went through a temporary split around 2011, with some members working on solo projects, but later reunited.
Keep it compact: a lyric you come back to, a live memory, or the part of the catalog you would point someone toward first.
