A project led by vocalist-producer Quentin Dupieux, with Grégoire Auger on various instruments.
For a sense of their sound, 'Calor' and '2001' are solid places to start. They frame that collaborative, atmospheric electronic thing pretty well.
Ill Quentin's music has a particular atmospheric quality that some listeners find too abstract, but others really connect with. The track 'Calor' with Juan Lopez shows how they build these moody electronic spaces around guest voices. Their 2018 single '2001' with TAICHU is another good example of that collaborative, textured sound.
They started with the album 'Ark' in 2011, then followed it with 'The Grail' and 'The Mirror.' Over the years, their tracks have regularly featured other artists, from 'Superglue' with Dillom to more recent work like 'Keta' with K4.
Keep it compact: a lyric you come back to, a live memory, or the part of the catalog you would point someone toward first.
