Illy is an Australian rap artist who started putting out music in Melbourne around the mid-2000s. His first album, 'Long Story Short,' came out in 2009. He followed that with several others, including 'The Beautiful Chaos Theory' in 2011, 'Chasing the Sun' in 2013, and 'Two Degrees' in 2016.
In 2017, there was some noise about his song 'Papercuts' and accusations of plagiarism. He denied it, and the whole thing eventually faded. He kept making albums, putting out 'The Space Between' in 2018 and 'The Lost City' in 2021.
He works mostly as a solo artist but brings in other musicians and producers for his records. One of his better-known tracks is 'Like You.'
