Sarah Jarosz, Aoife O'Donovan, and Sara Watkins formed this folk-bluegrass trio in 2015.
For a good sense of what they do, try 'Call My Name' or 'Wild One'. Both have that blend of folk and bluegrass with just enough pop touch to keep things moving.
When these three singer-songwriters came together, they brought distinct backgrounds that clicked. Sarah Jarosz's fingerpicking, Sara Watkins' fiddle from Nickel Creek, and Aoife O'Donovan's voice created something that felt both familiar and new. Songs like 'Wild One' show how their harmonies could wrap around quieter, thoughtful lyrics without crowding them out.
They formed in 2015 and released their first album 'See You Around' in 2018. After a pandemic tour cancellation in 2020, they put out a second album called 'All of Us Together' only on Bandcamp, which drew some criticism from fans about access.
Keep it compact: a lyric you come back to, a live memory, or the part of the catalog you would point someone toward first.
