Imanol

Imanol is a Spanish band from Andalusia that formed in the late 1970s. They built their sound by mixing flamenco with rock and pop elements, which made them stand out from other groups at the time. Their 1986 album 'Ahora Que Vuelvas' gave them their first major hit with the title track.

In the early 1990s, the band faced plagiarism allegations that were eventually dismissed. They responded by releasing several albums in the mid-1990s, including 'Corazón de Fuego' and 'El Despertar'. Other songs in their catalog include 'Como Canica' and 'Échale Sonrisas A La Vida'.

The group has maintained a relatively stable lineup over time, with Imanol as the frontman alongside musicians like Paco Serrano on guitar, Juan González on bass, and Javier Muñoz on drums. Their influences range from flamenco artists like Camarón de la Isla to rock acts like The Beatles.
