Immature was an R&B quartet from Los Angeles that formed in the early 1990s. The group consisted of Marques "Batman" Houston, Jerome "Romeo" Jones, Kelton "LDB" Kessee, and Don "Half Pint" Santos. They were signed to producer Chris Stokes' Blackground Records and released their debut album "On Our Worst Behavior" in 1992.
Their 1994 album "Playtyme Is Over" went platinum and included the track "Feel The Funk." Other songs like "Shorty (Got Her Eyes On Me)" and "I Don't Mind" became popular during their run. The group released five studio albums before eventually parting ways with Stokes in 1995 and taking a break from music.
Immature's music blended smooth harmonies with danceable grooves that appealed to teenage audiences in the 90s. While they faced some management and distribution issues, their recordings from that period still get played on R&B stations and playlists today.
