Archive material and source history

Impact Unit was a heavy metal band active in the 1980s. Their debut album 'Nightstalker' came out in 1984, followed by 'No Rest for the Wicked' in 1986 and 'Hellbound to the Night' in 1988. The band's lineup included Rexx Rocker on vocals, Jake Steele and Tom Thompson on guitars, Dave Davis on bass, and Mike Hardy on drums.

Their song 'Nightstalker' became their most recognizable track. The band's lyrics often dealt with dark themes, which led to some accusations of Satanism from certain quarters during their career. They released a final album called 'The End of the Line' in 1990.
