Their self-titled 1984 album included the song "Álamo," which became their most recognizable track. The band's live shows were known for their energy during this period.
After "Álamo," they released albums like "Escándalo" in 1985 and "Colorines" in 1986. Vega left the band in 1988, and Tarque took over as lead vocalist. They continued recording, putting out "Impacta IV" that same year and later "En familia" in 2004.
Their catalog includes songs like "Desacordado," "Inverso," "Longos Receios," and "Não Ouvi Mais Ninguém." The original lineup's work from the mid-80s remains what most Spanish rock listeners associate with the name Impacta.
